  12. It's not very _difficult_ to install, if you're careful. That's not
  13. the problem with FX. The real problem lies in its configuration.
  14. FX is currently very tricky to set up, and requires a lot of patience,
  15. if one doesn't belong to the few lucky ones who have a Perfect Falcon.
  16. This not only requires fiddling with software, but (unfortunately)
  17. also some minor hardware modifications in some cases. Again: not too
  18. difficult, but a lot of work.  It's worth it, though, I think.

  23. It's virtually fully compatible, once you get it to work correctly.
  24. It runs anything I throw at it, and even the few problem childs
  25. can be handled by forcing them to use ST-RAM instead of Fast-RAM.
  26. It's very easy. I use a CPX-module for that: "File-CPX".

  30. You don't have to. But if you do, just boot without the FX-driver
  31. (easy with a boot selector). The only thing that cannot be turned
  32. off is the DSP-accelerator. Hasn't caused me any trouble ever, though.

  54. I think, if some demo doesn't work with FX, it won't work in any
  55. accelerated Falcon, and contains some "illegal" code. I may be wrong,
  56. but...
